Towanda - Old-time fiddling, clogging, regional stories, songs and tall
tales will light up Towanda’s historic Keystone Theatre on Sunday, November
2 at 2 p.m. at the Friends of the Bradford County Library Appalachian Heritage
Concert.
The Glimm Heritage Project is supported by Pennsylvania Partners in
the Arts (PPA), the regional arts funding partnership of the Pennsylvania
Council on the Arts (PCA), a state agency. State government funding comes
through an annual appropriation by Pennsylvania’s General Assembly and
from the
National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered
in this region by the Bradford County Regional Arts Council. |

The Chemung Valley History Museum is pleased to
announce that : The public is welcome to attend a program that we are presenting
for the American Association of University Women (AAUW) on Monday, November
10 at 7:00 p.m. We will have a panel discussion with women war veterans.
Several of the women whom we have interviewed for the Veterans History
Project will be available to talk about their experiences. The AAUW
will hold their regular business meeting prior to the program. The
event will last for approximately two hours. There is no charge to
