Another Trojan, Scott Comfort Wounded In France

So far as known when this is written no Troy soldier has yet made the supreme sacrifice in France, but the list of wounded grows week by week. The last to be so reported is Scott Comfort. Word came to his brother, William Comfort last Sunday that Scott had been wounded on July 20th in France. Like Meeker and Wood, he too is a former employe of the VanDyne tannery. Scott F. Comfort. The Troy boy who is officially reported a prisoner of war in Germany.

Fighting Trojan Recovered from Wounds Prisoner at Limburg.

Mr. and Mrs. William Comfort have a letter from the War Department that their son, Private Scott Francis Comfort is a prisoner of war at camp Limburg, Germany. From this large pen for the newly taken prisoners are passed on to other camps, the population of which is more or less permanent. For this reason the War Department advises the parents to mail no letters or parcels until a permanent address is sent them from Washington. (17 OCT 1918 Issue)
