Lynn Alfred French was born Mar. 4, 1895, a son of John J. French and Grace Benn of Sabinsville, Clymer Township, Tioga County, PA, he died Feb. 24, 1939 in Corning, NY and is buried in the Hope Cemetery there. Lynn served as a Sgt. in the 305th Infantry in the First World War, where he was gassed, which effected his lungs. He spent most of his life in Corning, NY where he had a Restaurant and Bar. Lynn's siblings were Thelma, Arthur Leroy who was also a WWI Veteran, Doris and Harold. Lynn married Helen Benork Freeberg and they had no children.
