 Son of Fred Bryan, of Mainesburg.  He is 26 years of age, and went to France in July as a member of the 78 Field Artillery.  He was a student

Of Mansfield Normal at one time and played on the football team.  He was sent to Pittsburgh University to take a special course in mechanical training, and was considered there as an expert and put in an advanced class being the first time since the war commence that anyone had been put in an advanced class on examination.

 1.  Ross Emery1 Bryan, son of Fred Bryan and Bertha A. Shaw, (#7705) birth date unknown.  Individual flags: WW1; Photo.  His body was interred in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.

 He resided in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1908.   Ross E., son of Fred, is listed as a student, living Mainesburg.
