	WEDNESDAY, MAY 29, 1918   Two Brothers Who Have Just Arrived in France         Nephews of Mr. And Mrs. S. E. Ashley, of Mainesburg Lee G. Austin with an Engineering Corps, which recently arrived in France. Jesse L. Austin is a private in Uncle Sam’s infantry, which is soon to take over a section in France.

 He married Esther Elizabeth Dewey 15 JUN 1888 in Elmira, Chemung County, New York.  (Esther Elizabeth Dewey is #7086.)  Esther was born 25 JUN 1865 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Esther was the daughter of Edwin Dewey and Elizabeth Soper.  Esther died 25 FEB 1916 in Fallbrook, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 50.

 Daniel was listed in a directory in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1899.   Austin Daniel B (Sylvania, Bradford Co) r 71, farmer, 169 acres

      3  ii.  Charles Edwin Austin (#11219) was born in Lambs Creek, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 21 JAN 1890.  Charles died 21 Dec 1944 in Avon,New York, at age 54.  He married Edith Little* Jul 1911 in Avon,New York.  (Edith Little* is #33320.)  Edith was born 30 Nov 1894 in Upper Sandusky,New York.
      4  iii.  James Luther Austin (#11220) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania AUG 1891.  James resided in Allentown, PA.
      5  iv.  Lee Grover Austin (#11221) was born in Bradford County, Pennsylvania 06 MAR 1893.  Individual flags: WW1.  He married Jessie Smith* 1916.  (Jessie Smith* is #33325.)  Lee and Jessie lived in Alton NY.
      6  v.  Mary Elizabeth Austin (#11222) was born in Bradford County, Pennsylvania 14 AUG 1894.  Mary died 04 Jan 1928 in Elmira, Chemung County, New York, at age 33.  She married Leon Spencer*.  (Leon Spencer* is #33326.)  Mary and Leon lived in Elmira NY.
      7  vi.  Lawrence Edward Austin (#11223) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 04 DEC 1898.   He married Alice Washburn* 1922.  (Alice Washburn* is #33329.)
      8  vii.  Fred Austin (#58972) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 30 SEP 1901.   No further mention of Fred indicates that he died young.
      9  viii.  Florence Malvina Austin (#33351) was born 8 APR 1906.  She married Frank Little* 8 SEP 1925 in Avon,New York.  (Frank Little* is #33352.)
