American Expeditionary Force in France. Trained at Kelley Field, San Antonia,
Texas and at Camp Morrison, Virginia. Eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray DeWitt
of Troy. (July 1918)

1. Homer J.1 DeWitt, son of James Ray DeWitt and Elizabeth
Unknown (Cudworth)(Adopted), (#52564) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga
County, Pennsylvania 12 DEC 1895. Individual flags: WW1.
Homer died 04 JUL 1949 at age 53. His body was interred JUL 1949
in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
He married Leona Isabel Tomlinson. (Leona Isabel Tomlinson
is #52565.) Leona was born MAY 1896. Leona was the daughter
of V. Edward Tomlinson and Isabelle M. Havens*. Leona died 1984 at
age 88. Her body was interred 1984 in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, Bradford
County, Pennsylvania.
