Robert L. Putnam. A Troy boy whose splendid marksmanship has caused
him to be detached from his regular place with the 125th Co.,
9th Regiment, U. S. Marine Corps for special service as a sharpshooter
or sniper, "over there." He is taking extra training for his new assignment
which is considered of great importance and danger. Brother of A. R. Putnam
and Miss Rusha Putnam—the latter of New York.
