1. Oscar Richmond1 Sherman, son of John Wesley Sherman and Nettie
Celia Richmond, reference LR 638 (#2894) was born in Sullivan Township,
Tioga County, Pennsylvania 11 NOV 1900. Individual flags: Soc.Sec..
Oscar died 22 JUL 1990 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania,
at age 89. His body was interred JUL 1990 in Tioga County Memorial
Gardens, Wellsboro, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
He married twice. He married Mary Rosella Ishler * 26 DEC
1928 in State College, Centre County, Pennsylvania. (Mary Rosella
Ishler* is #13392.) Rosella was born 02 Jan 1904 in Potter's Bank,
Center County, Pennsylvania. Rosella died 22 Mar 1942 in Homer City,
Indiana County, Pennsylvania, at age 38. He married Mildred Wineman
09 JUN 1945. (Mildred Wineman is #2895.) Mildred was born 17
Apr 1903 in Homer City,,Indiana. Mildred was the daughter of Elmer
Wineman * and Rosa Hutchinson *. Mildred died 16 Nov 1993 in McMurray,Pennsylvania,
at age 90. Her body was interred 30 Nov 1993 in Tioga County Memorial
Gardens, Wellsboro, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Mildred taught school
before her marriage to Oscar. After she and Oscar moved back to Elk Run,
she taught at Roseville and was superintendent of the Elk Run Methodist
Church Sunday School. She and Oscar were also members of the East Sullivan
grange. Oscar taught school for many years, but retired to Sullivan Township
where he sold real estate. He and Mildred lived on the last house on the
Elk Run road before it meets Route 549. They were both very active in the
Elk Run Methodist church and the East Sullivan Grange.

(#13393) She married Raymond Lewis Siren 23 AUG 1952. (Raymond Lewis
Siren is #13395.) Raymond is the son of Urho Siren* and Lillian Walters*.
3 ii. John Wesley Sherman
(#13394) He married Mary Evelyn Unknown (Sherman). (Mary Evelyn
Unknown (Sherman) is #10023.)
