First War Hero Buried at Lawrence Corners

Oley Johns, a Sailor Who Died in Scotland, Buried Near Here Recently.

 Oley Johns, a sailor on one of Uncle Sam’s ships, who was stricken with scarlet fever in British waters and died in Scotland June 27 lst, was laid at rest in the Lawrence Corners cemetery on August 5 last.
