WWI veteran.  I just read your page about Victor and I have more information.  Victor was my husband's grandfather.  His first wife was Florence Genevieve
Starkey.  She died giving birth to Victor's first son who was Henry Starkey Bartlett and yes, he was adopted by Valeda, Victor's sister.  The year of her death was
1916.  She is buried in Oakwood cemetery, Mansfield, and her son Henry is also buried there.   His name when he died was Henry Starkey Bartlett Fick.
He died in 1942 after marrying Martha Steinhilper of Elmira in a trucking accident while helping to build Sampson Naval Base in Seneca County. They had one son, Jack Starkey Fick.  He is my husband.  I have pictures to send, but I am awaiting my new computer to do this.
