It is as follows: John Bonnell was married and had seven children, his wife is dead. Of the seven children, we only know of the one, a son Lewis Bonnell, who was married and had three children. He left his wife, and his whereabouts is unknown. His wife married Attorney Ira Smith, and the three grandchildren of the said John Bonnell, one Paul Bonnell resides in Williamsport and is listed as a clerk and the two daughters are doing nursing work in the city.

Born in Jackson Twp, he had lived in South Williamsport for many years. He was elected a county commissioner in 1905 and served in that capacity for three years.
