My name is Janice Garrison Bolt and I am writing about the 1948 picture taken
at the Elk Run school. I am the girl standing next to Grace York. I married
Thomas Bolt standing in the back row in 1951. We now live in West Franklin in
Bradford county. I was born in the house shown as the Brewster Homestead. We
moved away and after the war my family moved back and I attended the Elk Run
school from 6 through 8th grade. I graduated from Mansfield High School and
worked in the bank for 3 years until Tom was drafted. Since the Army we have
lived at our present address. . The picture that you show was of the 7th and 8th
grade and Janice Hulslander was at least 2 grades behind us.
