Lamb's Creek Photos Part One Part Two Clippings 1899- 1902 Clippings 1933 - 1935
The first two photos are very blurry, The first is of the post office and store again. The little girl on the porch is Grace Lamb. Second photo is of the Lamb's Creek school date is unknown for both photos. Third photo is of the Lambs Creek School date unknown, the fourth photo date is unknown.I believe the teacher is Edna Dray /DAY as I have another photo of her and the hand writing was hard to make out as pencil seems to fade after time. The last photo is the Lamb's Creek School reunion 1909. I do not know who the people are marked with T, if you go 5 women over from the top T there is a young womaan with a flower at the neck of her blouse, this is Genevieve Rankin (she is standing next to a woman in a black hat).
Send more in a few,
Debora Clark

The first phot is of Bertha Warters, second is Geneveive Rankin, The third is once again of the school - all three photos were taken in 1907.
The fourth photo looks like it may need to be scanned again- I am unsure of the date but the two teachers are Bellsworth Beach and Lucy B. Mavin
Joyce I tried to rescan the school photo, but it still looks blurry.  Next is an early photo of the Lambs Creek Church when it was new or close to it as there are not trees around it and in later photos there were lots. I also am sending you copies of a church service from June 6, 1943. I think it meant alot to the town folks as I found the flyer and a newspare clipping plus a black and white flag photo in my Husband's Grandfather Wyland Clark's Bible- The scan of the Church members came out of a frame from the Rankin family home. Francis and Wyland are the couple next to the church steps- on the right Francis' face is half covered and Wy is the gentleman in the suit with the receding hairline. Ida Rankin is the older lady in the front row with a hearing bone dress with a whit ruffed color. She is standing in the between 2 ladies that are wearing hats.
By the way if you would like a photo of the church being moved- due to relocation because of the dam- I have photos of that as well.
