Post Offices in Barclay Township  in 1870  -  There was only one Post Office in Barclay Township in 1870, the Barclay Post Office. All residents of the township picked up their mail at the same post office.  There was no rural delivery until 1903.  The township was formed from Franklin Township in 1866 and reverted back to Franklin when the coal ran out.
