Post Offices in Wysox Township in 1870 included Wysox and Meyersburg.  However, the enumerator recorded Wysox PO for ALL residents of Wysox Township. This may well be an error on his part, and one which we have no way to correct. In 1870 all rural persons drove to the Post Office, sometimes only weekly, to pick up their mail. Rural Delivery did not occur until1903.
