from Photo in possession of Gertrude CRUM Strunk of Millerton PA. Scanned and formatted by Joyce M. Tice

Year not identified but has to be very early 1880s based on birthdates of the people in the photo.

Sitting in front: Luvinne Cornwell, Hattie Updyke, xx Cook, ??, Frances Seeley, Fina Gould

Standing Row 1 :??, ??,??, Floyd Chamberlain. Mary Cornwell, Mertie Cook, ??, Bertha Crippen, Edith Cook, Lottie Seeley, George Gould, Stephen Wood

Standing in front of school: ??, Viola Chamberlain, Sarah Walker, -skip doorway- Clara Wood, Emma Moore (teacher), Hattie Seeley

Windows and doorway: Lorinda Gould, Lettie Seeley, Helen Newbry, Mary Updyke, Julia Cornwell

On Roof: Otis Cook, Charles Dix, Will Armstrong, Harry Bement

I  randomly checked the birthdates of nine of the people in the photo and found birthdates ranging from 1864 (Harry Bement) to 1876 (Hattie Updyke - a very little girl in the front row). Based on that I estimate the photo to be about 1880 or 1881. I looked at the people with a mangnifying glass on the original and even Otis Cook, born 1869, looks barely eleven in the photo.
I scanned this photo at 200 dpi for the website so that it would load quickly. However, I also scanned it at 400 dpi and if anyone wants a copy of the jpg file at 400 dpi, I will be glad to send it. Just let me know. Joyce M. Tice In fact I am going to scan it at 600 dpi just for good measure, before I send it back home.
