 She married David Waldo Stone 06 JAN 1866.  (David Waldo Stone is #8573.)  David was born 1847 in Mendon, Worcester County, Massachusetts.  David was the son of Almond Stone.  David died 18 JAN 1926 in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 78.   His body was interred 21 JAN 1926 in Lawrence Corners, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.   David was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  David was listed in a directory in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1899.   Stone David W (Painter Run) r 1 1-2, farmer, 30 acres David W. STONE was a veteran of the Civil War. He enlisted in 1864 (age 16 or 17) and served until the close of the war in 1865/ He was in the 207th Pa Volunteers, Company A. Picture in Life in Roseville and from Elaine Bryant.

      2  i.  Merritt Delos2 Stone (#5328) was born in Mill Creek, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 27 MAR 1867.  Merritt died 13 AUG 1936 in Painter Run, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 69.  His body was interred AUG 1936 in Lawrence Corners, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.   He married twice.  He married Augusta Edith Cleveland.   (Augusta Edith Cleveland is #9880.)  Augusta was born 12 NOV 1873 in Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Augusta was the daughter of Asa Cleveland and Augusta Cleveland.  Augusta was listed as a daughter in Asa Cleveland's household on the 1880 Census in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.   Asa and Kate were farmers. The four children of Asa's earlier marriage to Augusta Cleveland were still in the household.
    He married Florence Wood BY 1903.  (Florence Wood is #5327.)  Florence was born 1884.  Florence was the daughter of Lawrence R. Wood and Ophelia E. Harris*.  Florence died 1940 at age 56.  Her body was interred 1940 in Lawrence Corners, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Florence, as Merritt Delos Stone's wife, resided with him 39 - west of Mainesburg, in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1908.   Farmer, Star Route Mansfield There is a Florence Wood 2063 who married Norman Leslie and a Florence Wood born 1879 daughter of Lawrence. I do not know if this is one of them. I have determined that the Florence Wood who married Merritt Stone is this one, because of a reference in a letter from Nellie Stone to Rae Byrant about Aunt Florence having a sister, Hattie, mother of Viola.
    Merritt was listed in a directory in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1899.   Stone Merritt D, laborer, h Business College blk, Wellsboro
    He resided 39 - west of Mainesburg, in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1908.   Farmer, Star Route Mansfield
      3  ii.  Eugene Norman Stone (#18202) was born in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 07 Oct 1868.  Eugene died 26 Apr 1956 at age 87.  He married Millie Adriance*.  (Millie Adriance* is #50528.)  Millie was born 1871.  Millie died Aug 1939 at age 68.
      4  iii.  Ella May Stone (#8574) was born 04 NOV 1870.  Ella died 11 FEB 1946 at age 75.  Her body was interred FEB 1946 in Lawrence Corners, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.   She married James A. Searles 15 DEC 1891.  (James A. Searles is #8578.)  Jimmy was born 4 MAR 1867 in Pennsylvania.  Jimmy was the son of Thomas J. Searles and Catherine Patrick.  He married Esther Howard 1947.  Family legend says that Jimmy wanted to marry Esther when they were young, but Henry Middleditch  asked her first. They married late in life when both spouses had died, but they were ill. The Michigan Howard relatives had visited Jimmy and Ella frequently in Pennsylvania. The marriage of Jimmy and Esther made the third marriage between the two sets of siblings.
    Jimmy died 04 JUL 1949 in Pennsylvania, at age 82.  His body was interred JUL 1949 in Lawrence Corners, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
      5  iv.  Phoebe Marion Stone (#20507) was born 29 APR 1872.  Phoebe died 30 SEP 1964 at age 92.  Her body was interred OCT 1964 in Erwin Township, Steuben County, New York.  She married twice.  She married Mr. ? Culver BY 1895.  (Mr. ? Culver is #50531.)  She married Charles Benjamin Smith* BY 1907.  (Charles Benjamin Smith* is #50532.)

      6  v.  Cora Agnes Stone (#8576) was born 08 DEC 1874.  Individual flags: Photograph.  Cora died 09 FEB 1959 at age 84.  Her body was interred FEB 1959 in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.   She married Fred L. Bailey BY 1895.  (Fred L. Bailey reference B1.12511151)  (Fred L. Bailey is #13340.)

 Fred was born 1861 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Fred was the son of Griffin Bailey and Alvira Aylesworth.  Fred died SEP 1928 in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 67.  His body was interred SEP 1928 in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Fred was listed in a directory in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1899.   Bailey Fred (Mansfield) r 38, farmer, 106 acres
    Fred was listed as the head of a family on the 1910 Census in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.

    7  vi.  William Almond Stone (#20509) was born 08 Oct 1876.  Individual flags: Photograph.  Will died 31 Jul 1943 at age 66.  He married Bessie Ruggles*.  (Bessie Ruggles* is #50516.)  Bessie died 13 Mar 1945 at age unknown.
      8  vii.  Edson Stone (#8577) was born 09 Apr 1877.  Individual flags: Newspaper.  Edson died 1880 in Painter Run, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 3.  Mansfield Advertiser 4th Aug 1880: Died Ch. of David Stone of Painter Run past week of diphtheria.
      9  viii.  Josephine Stone (#20513) was born 19 Feb 1879.  Josie died 15 Apr 1970 at age 91.  She married Frank Simpson*.  (Frank Simpson* is #50527.)  Frank died 02 May 1928 at age unknown.  Josie lived on a farm near Binghamton, NY.
      10  ix.  Henry C. Stone (#20508) was born 09 Aug 1880.  Henry died 28 Jun 1919 at age 38.  He married Mamie or Ethel Richmond.  (Mamie or Ethel Richmond is #19141.)  Mamie was born 22 Nov 1884.  Mamie was the daughter of Frederick Richmond and Jessie Niles.  June Mickley says Fred's daughter who married Henry Stone was named Mamie. Same person? Rachelle Bryant gives Ethel Richmond as wife of Henry Stone. Birthdates from sources match.
      11  x.  Sophia M. Stone (#20510) was born 06 Jul 1881.  Sophia died 16 Nov 1916 at age 35.  She married Albert Wood BY 1901.  (Albert Wood is #2062.)  Albert was born 19 FEB 1877 in Pennsylvania.  Albert was the son of Lawrence R. Wood and Ophelia E. Harris*.  Albert died 08 Sep 1955 at age 78.  County Home Records Source of Sophia's children is from work of Ollie STONE Allen sent by Rachelle (Rae) BRYANT Kirkland.
      12  xi.  Nellie Delia Stone (#8580) was born 17 Mar 1883.  Nellie died 19 Jun 1901 at age 18.  She married Fred M. Smith.  (Fred M. Smith is #14815.)  Fred was born 19 NOV 1871.  Fred was the son of Nehemiah A. Smith and Francella Delilah Palmer.  Fred died 11 FEB 1949 in Blossburg, Blossburg Town, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 77.  His body was interred FEB 1949 in Lawrence Corners, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Nellie married Fred SMITH, but some reference listed husband ans B.D.N. Smith, probably same person. Nellie died so young, she may be another death by childbirth case.
      13  xii.  Lelia Frances Stone (#20512) was born 25 MAR 1885.  Lelia died 14 APR 1951 at age 66.  She married Ray G. Bartlett*.  (Ray G. Bartlett* is #50525.)  Ray was born ABT 1886.  Ray died 16 APR 1952 at age 65.
      14  xiii.  Wesley J. Stone (#20515) was born Nov 1886.
      15  xiv.  Olive Gertrude Stone  (#8575) was born 1888.  Individual flags: Photograph.  Olive died 07 MAY 1971 at age 83.  Her body was interred MAY 1971 in Lawrence Corners, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.   She married Edgar Allen* BY 1907.  (Edgar Allen* is #8579.)  Edgar was born 1884.  Edgar died 08 AUG 1957 at age 73.  His body was interred Aug 1957 in Lawrence Corners, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
      16  xv.  Hilton Stone (#20511) was born 05 May 1890.
      17  xvi.  Frederick Stone (#20516) was born Sep 1893.
