1. Polly A.1 Burton, daughter of Halsey Burton* and Rachel Wood,
(#10084) was born in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1821.

Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 82. Her body was interred 1903
in Watson Cemetery,Roseville, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
She married Isaac Benedict Wheeler 1 FEB 1844. (Isaac Benedict Wheeler is #10083.) Ike was born 1821 in Brookline, Massachusetts. Ike was the son of Peter Wheeler* and Sally Unknown (Wheeler). Ike died 12 NOV 1901 in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 79. Mansfield Advertiser Nov. 20, 1901 page 3. Isaac B. Wheeler an old and respected resident of Rutland, died Nov. 12, 1901 aged nearly 80 years. He was born in Mass., April 10, 1822 and came, when a boy 14 years of age, to this state where he has since resided. He was married Feb. 1st, 1844 to Miss Polly Burton. He was a kind husband and father, and a man of Christian character. He was a great sufferer in his last days, being stricken with that dread disease cancer of the liver. He bore his sufferings with patience. His prayer was that his dear children might all meet him in heaven. His wife and five children, four sons and one daughter, and a brother in Illinois, survive him. The funeral took place at the Roseville M. E. Church, Thursday, Nov. 14th, Rev. Daniel Stoker officiationg. The interment was in the Roseville (Watson) Cemetery. |

: Mrs. Philena Squires died Wednesday afternoons at the home of her brother
Edward d Wheeler. At Sylvania, Pa. aged seventy nine years. She is survived
by three brothers, Edward Wheeler. of Sylvania, Pa. Lloyd Wheeler of Mansfield,
Pa. and Peter Wheeler of Morris, Pa. Funeral services will be held Friday
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. Burial will be in Squires cemetery
The Rev. A.G. Caneron will officiate. Her body was interred 1925 in Gray
Valley Cemetery, Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.

Lloyd was born 06 AUG 1835 in Sullivan Township,
Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Lloyd was the son of William
Sturgis Squires and Charlotte Barrows. Lloyd died 6 MAR 1908 in Mainesburg,
Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 72. Obituary:
The Late Lloyd SQUIRES - Lloyd SQUIRES died at the home of his sister,
Mrs. Harrison Smith, in Mainesburg, on Friday night, March 6. Mr. SQUIRES
was 73 years old. He was born in Sullivan, where he lived until after his
marriage to Philena WHEELER of Rutland, where they remained the most of
his days. He was a kind and loving husband and a firm Christian. He was
a member of the M. E. Church. The funeral was held from the M.E.Church
on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. F. J. Allington, the pastor
officiating. Burial in Gray Valley Cemetery.
