 1866 - Mudge-Lownsberry - Wellsboro Agitator, 7 October 1936
Married 70 years
 Married in 1866, Mr. & Mrs. John Lownsbery, [Celinda Mudge] of Jersey Shore, celebrated their 70th anniversary Friday at the home of their daughter, Mrs. J. W. Smith. Mr. Lownsbery is enjoying fairly good health and is active despite his 90 years. His wife is 89, and is seriously ill. Both are of Revolutionary descent and Mr. Lownsbery is the only surviving civil war veteran in Jersey Shore, and also the only survivor of the Mansfield Post, GAR. He attributes his advance age to “careful living”. Mr. Lownsbery is an ardent supporter of Governor Landon for the presidency and is opposed to the “principles of Roosevelt”.

1922 - JENKINS-ROGERS
 The marriage of Owen Jenkins, to Miss Lydia Rogers, was solemimized last Wednesday in Covington at the home of the brides parents, Mr. And Mrs. Fred E. Rogers.  Their many friends extend best wishes. (The Agitator:  Wellsboro, PA, Wednesday, June 28, 1922)

1935 - SISSON-WALTZ
A quiet wedding took place at the parsonage of Rev. H. M. Kauffman, Covington, when Miss Elnora Carolyn Sisson, daughter of Mrs. Ivan Sisson,Covington, and Richard Waltz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Waltz of Pickle Hill, were married, Nov. 16, 1935, in the presence of the bride and bridegroom’s mothers and Madolyn Waltz, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Kauffman. Their many friends wish them happiness and prosperity on their life journey.
