Joyce's Search Tip - December 2007 - Do You Know that you can search just the 600 pages of Tioga County Cemetery Records on the site by using the Cemeteries -Tioga button in the Partitioned search engine at the bottom of the Current What's New Page? If you use that partition follow these steps to search just one cemetery.  1. Choose Cemeteries - Tioga.  2. Enter part of the cemetery name [ie Newbury or Furman] AND a surname.  3. Choose the Find ALL Words option. Then it will find just the pages with that surname in the one cemetery you indicated.

Hi Joyce,

I have been using your site for about 1 year, and find it an excellent source.  I am a descendant of several families in the Rutland area.

I found a discrepancy in regard to Jobs'  Corner Cemetery.  I have some ancestors there, and they are not listed on the cemetery index.  They are as follows:
            Merritt Cook  b. 1863  d. 1938
            Nellie Brewer Cook  b. 1867  d. 1928  (w/o Merritt)

            Gamaliel Cook  b 1840 d. 1920 (father of Merritt)
            Eleanor S. Benson Cook  b. 1842  d. 1923 (w/o Gamaliel)

            Charles Hayward Cook  b. 1892  d. 1959 (son of Merritt)
            Ruby Belle Hoag Cook  (w/o Charles)

Hope this helps and that it can be added to the index.  Thanks for your attention.  Also, I have ancestors in Pumpkin Hill, as do you, but they are on the list.  (Hiram Cook, Lucinda Westbrook Cook, and their 3 grandchildren)

When in PA last week we went to Job's Corners Cemetery, Jackson Township, Tioga County, PA
When I checked the Job's Corners Cemetery listing on your website, my gr-grandparents, John Clark Cunningham, 1838-1936 and Julia Anna CRUMM Cunningham,  1844-1899,  were not on the list.

Hi Joyce,  congratulations on getting the book, " History of Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1897"  online.  It was a large project and I was happy to participate.

On my recent trip to PA, we went to Job's Corners Cemetery and took pictures of the gravestones of my gr-grandparents, John and Julia CRUMB Cunningham,  please see attached.

I noticed on your site for the Job's Corners Cemetery, Jackson Township, Tioga Co., PA that the names of my gr-grandparents were not on the list. They are as follows:

John C. Cunningham,  b. 6/11/1838, d. 6/5/1936
Julia Anna CRUMB Cunningham, b. 12/25/1844, d. 1/11/1899
