1. Choose Cemeteries - Chemung
2. Enter part of the cemetery name [ie Comfort or Carr] AND a surname. 
3. Choose the Find ALL Words option. Then it will find just the pages with that surname in the one cemetery you indicated. 
Chemung County Poor Farm Cemetery

Breesport, N.Y.

Location: From Breesport, N.Y. and State Route 223, turn right onto Church St. and follow the road to the Chemung Co. Poor Farm. Continue past to the next road on right. Breesport-North Chemung Rd. On the corner sits a marker Chemung County Poor Farm Cemetery. Behind is a large hill mound and the burials circle around the hill. It is quite overgrown. The stones only contain a number and the initials of the person buried there. This is no internment list. The Bureau of Vital Statistics stated that a list existed but was lost in the June 1972 flood. The new Chemung County Nursing Facility and Vital Statistics Office opened just prior to June 1972. Some residents who died at the Poor Farm were buried by family in other cemeteries.
