Also Called Comfort Cemetery

Located in Columbia Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania in the northeast portion of the township near the Springfield Township line and south of the South Creek Township line. From Route 14 go east on Ketcham Road, cross the old railroad tracks until you come to the Lawrence home. The cemetery is south of the Lawrence residence in the edge of the woods. A small brook (usually dry) runs between the house and cemetery. It would appear there is a single row of markers about thirty feet in length of native stones marking graves. One of these is inscribed "Father" and the remaining markers have no inscriptions, except for the Morse marker which would appear to be at the south end of the row. Nearby are the recent Lawrence family burials. Markers copied May 2000 by J. Kelsey Jones. Other information obtained from Evelyn Comfort Cogswell of Pine City.
