The family of Elcy Clark and her husband Eber Orvis lived in Tompkins County NY and in Steuben County NY. Their son, Clark Orvis, joined second cousins and other relatives in Sullivan Township late in his life.

In June 1964 Ethel Drake Mayo contacted her cousins (grandchildren of Daniel & Dordania Orvis) and requested info and small contribution for grave marker.. The stone was set (Call Hill) the autumn of 1964.
