Banquet Honors St. Agnes High Basketball Champions

Rev. William E. Burchill of Meshoppen, himself a St. Agnes graduate, is shown telling one of his famous jokes as toastmaster at Sunday night’s banquet honoring the St. Agnes High basketball team that won this year’s BSCAA League title. Left to right at the table are State Trooper Edward Bloomer who is a well known basketball referee; Mike “Red” Wallace, coach of the Wilkes-Barre Barons; Rev. Joseph T.
