Mansfield High School Graduates 1969
1960 view of Mansfield High School. Front section , formerly the gym - converted to auditorium, was built about 1927 attached to the old Brick School. In 1939, the Brick School was torn down and the new school built surrounding the central gym. The 1939 section  on left became the Junior High School in the fall of 1959, and the High School is the new part on the right.

DANDOIS, Patrick A. - Patrick A. Dandois, age 69, of Troy, PA, passed away on May 28, 2018 at Troy Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 20, 1949 in Troy, PA, a son of G.F. and Charlotte (Macomber) Dandois. Patrick had been employed with Cumming's Lumber for over 37 years. He loved working with lumber, hunting, fishing, his home, his pool, collection of stuff and tools. He was a member of the Roseville United Methodist Church and the Troy American Legion. Patrick was a US Veteran having served in the Marines during the Vietnam Era.  He is survived by a daughter, Sally (Dan) McClure of Mansfield, PA; two grandchildren, Macy McClure and Dustin Dandois; one great grandson, David Lindquist; two brothers, Stephen (Patsy) Dandois of GA, Bart (Anne) Dandois of CO; three sisters, Helen Dandois of Troy, PA, Lucy (Keith) Boyd of NC, Faith Dandois of MI; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Leonila (Belison) Dandois; a son, Richard Dandois; a sister, Kathleen Dandois. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. John Philip "Uncle Johnny" Farrer [SRGP 83201]
59, of Mansfield PA, died May 20, 2011, at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. He was born November 1, 1951 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of the late John & Marieta "Peg" Goodwin Farrer. John was the Director of the Food Bank of the Southern Tier in Horseheads NY, until his health forced his retirement in 2000. John proudly served as a member of the Mansfield Boro Council. He enjoyed Civil War History, golfing, Turner Classic Movies, and watching his alma mater, the University of Miami Hurricanes' football. John is survived by his wife, the former Linda Schwab; brothers & sisters-in-law, Gerald & Mary Farrer of Mansfield PA, James & Mary Farrer of Horseheads NY; a sister, Linda Doud of Williamsport PA; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, John & Gloria Schwab of Mansfield PA, Thomas & Margie Schwab of Horseheads NY, Frank & Susan Schwab of Towanda PA; a sister-in-law, Kay Schwab of Lykens PA, & several nieces & nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St. Mansfield PA, Tuesday 11 AM – 1 PM. Funeral services will follow there Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Rev. STICKLER, Terry Ross [SRGP 83313]
Age 57, formerly of Mansfield, PA, died November 26, 2008, at his home in Glendale, AZ. He was born March 21, 1951 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of Raymond and Arlene Sours Stickler. Terry was employed in Environmental Sales and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Tondelayo Stickler Bressette of Mansfield; an uncle, Byron Stickler in NC; and several cousins. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Terry to be held at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro, PA, on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. David Dressler officiating. 58, of Mainesburg, PA, died October 3, 2009 at home. She was born February 15, 1951 in Troy, PA, the daughter of Jack and
Ramona Clark Strange. Jill was the owner and operator of Cross Excavating and a member of the Mainesburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Pamela Cross of Mansfield, PA, Chad and Nancy Cross of Mansfield; her father, Jack Strange and Phyllis Jackson of Mainesburg, PA; her mother, Ramona Gilliland of Brunswick, GA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, her twin brother, Jack and Patricia Strange of Mainesburg, Rock and Kim Strange of Mainesburg; a sister, Kandi Bostwick of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren, Jacklyn, Katie, Megan and Braydon Cross; three stepbrothers and three stepsisters, all in FL. Friends are invited to call at the First United Methodist Church of Mainesburg, Wednesday 10 a.m. - noon. A memorial service will follow there Wednesday at noon with William Baker officiating. Ruthadele and her very young baby died in a house fire started from a burning cigarette dumped in a wastebasket from an ashtray.
TICE, RUTHADELE JEAN SMITH [SRGP 21473]
 Ruthadele Jean Smith, age 22, of Williamsport, formerly of Mansfield, died Sunday, March 3, 1974. Funeral service was held Tuesday at 1 pm at the Canoe Camp Church of Christ's Disciples with the Rev. Kermit Clickner officiating.  Burial in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Michael T. Smith, Williamsport; parents, Thomas and Ruth Tice, Mansfield; three brothers, Thomas G. of Troy, David of Mansfield, and Jack L. of Gillett, Pa. RD 2; three sisters, Mrs. Phillip (Barbara) Parker, Tioga, Linda Tice, of Mansfield and Sandra Tice of Williamsport. She was a member of the Canoe Camp Church of Christ's Disciples, a graduate of Mansfield High School. She graduated from the Practical Nursing Course at the Williamsport Area Community College and she was employed at the Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport.  She was born April 21, 1951, daughter of Thomas E. and Ruth E. McKay Tice.
