My grandfather, John Andrew Morrow (Andy), was the Superintendent of Schools in Bradford County for many years.  Under his staff's direction, many of the old one-room school houses were closed as the county consolidated into larger high schools.   I have inherited from him, about 2 dozen negatives of pictures of those schools. Bill Benson
1920 Pierce School Souvenir Booklet lists it as in Troy Township. Fay Morgan tracked fown the other school and there were indeed two Pierce Schools, One in Armenia and one in Troy.

The Outhouses or Privies at Pierce School. In the 1889 Report of
the Pennsylvania Superintendent of Public Instruction, of which I
have a copy, one of the goals of the Bradford County Superintendent
of Schools was to have separate outhouses for boys and girls on
separate areas of the school properties. It appears that Pierce met
that goal by about 50%.
