Most families had horses in this early twentieth century photo
when the autos were still uncommon. Roads were dirt and dust
on a dry day and mud the rest of the time.

The 1920s Covington School Bus, horse
drawn model, was on display in July 1994
at Mainesburg's Old Home days. Doesn't
this look just about like the second vehicle in
line in the above photo.
