 1.  Fanny E.1 Shelton, daughter of Robert G. Shelton and Ameda Austin, (#9439) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 01 MAY 1857.  Individual flags: Photograph; Obituary.  Fanny died 04 JUL 1925 in Mainesburg, Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 68.   Her body was interred 06 JUL 1925 in Ames Hill Cemetery, Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.

 She married Leander C. Gardner 11 OCT 1875.  (Leander C. Gardner is #9193.)  Leander was born 1842 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Leander was the son of Clark Gardner and Arispa Unknown (Gardner).  Leander died 06 FEB 1922 at age 79.  Leander's death date is given in Fannie's obituary.

 Leander was listed in a directory in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1899.   Gardner Leander C (Elk Run) r 24, farmer with Adis E, 27 acres   He resided in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1908.

 Fanny, as Leander C. Gardner's wife, resided with him in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1908.   My father, who was four when Fanny died,  remembers her smoking her corn cob pipe.

      Fanny E. Shelton and Leander C. Gardner had the following children:

      2  i.  Ward W.2 Gardner (#65759).  He resided 26, in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1908.   Farmer See Photo in the 1937 Miller Thanksgiving photos.
      3  ii.  Warren E. Gardner (#5007) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1876.  Individual flags: Newspaper.  Warren died 4 JAN 1881 in Mainesburg, Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 4.  Mansfield Advertiser 12th Jan 1881: Died Gardiner, son of Leander, Mainesburg, Jan 4th, abt 5 years, Scarlet fever and diphtheria.
      4  iii.  Mildred A. Gardner (#3220) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 28 APR 1877.  Individual flags: Obituary.  Mildred died 17 MAR 1924 in Mainesburg, Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 46.   Obituary is lengthy but does not give the  year of her death. She died March 17, but year not given. Her mother's obituary gives the full date. Her body was interred MAR 1924 in Ames Hill Cemetery, Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  She married Judson L. Dann 6 SEP 1905.  (Judson L. Dann is #13468.)
    Judson was born SEP 1860.  Judson was the son of Mr. ? Dann.  He married Eliza Squires 16 SEP 1880.  Judson died 31 OCT 1911 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 51.  Obituary: Judson L. DANN died of heart trouble on October 31, at his late home in Sullivan, near Mainesburg, after a long illness, though confined to the house only three months. The funeral service was conducted at the home by the Rev. Emma E. Bailey, pastor of the Universalist church of Mansfield. The burial was in Ames Hill cemetery. Mr. DANN is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. George Dewey; one son, Ruhl M., and a brother R. M. DANN, of Elmira. He was married on September 16, 1880, to Eliza SQUIRES, who died on May 23, 1903. On September 6, 1905, he was married to Mildred A. GARDNER, who survives him, and gave him tenderest and unremitting care during the prolonged and painful illness.  The decedent was a patient sufferer - no word of complaint ever passing his lips. Thoughtful of others, he only gave them words of cheer and comfort. He felt that the Lord spoke to him and claimed him, and although he had a great desire to live, he bravely submitted to the inevitable. He went peacefully to sleep at last. The great love of God, through Jesus Christ, sustained him and carried him safely through the gateway of death, to the gateway of eternal morn and life.
    The text for the funeral address was I John 4:16 and the singing was by Mr. & Mrs. G. E. Robbins, of Mainesburg. The loved old hymns which they sang never could have sounded sweeter or more appropriately reached the occasion.
    His body was interred NOV 1911 in Ames Hill Cemetery, Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.   He resided in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1908.   Laborer, Mandfield PO What is relationship to Judson Dann  b 1825?  Check possibility of relationship to Danns of Union Township. First name of Judson introduces possiblity of relationship to this family.
