1. Rosetta A.1 Benson, daughter of Otis
S. Benson and Wealtha Matilda Jaqua*, (#8829) was born in Rutland
Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 27 DEC 1849. Individual flags:
Obituary. Rosetta died 22 FEB 1927 in Mansfield, Richmond Township,
Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 77. Her body was interred 26 FEB
1927 in Watson Cemetery,Roseville, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
She married Sanford S. Johns 17 MAY 1869 in Rutland Township,
Tioga County, Pennsylvania. (Sanford S. Johns is #7601.) Sanford
was born 1828 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Sanford
was the son of Seeley Johns and Miriam Burns. Sanford died 22 JUL
1898 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 70.
Sanford was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census in Rutland
Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
Rosetta was listed in a directory in Rutland Township, Tioga County,
Pennsylvania 1899 (Information collected 1898). Johns Rosetta,
r 18, widow Sanford, farmer 60 acres Rutland Hill Church record gives
marriage of Sidney Hayward and Rosetta Johns on Jan 1, 1899.

was born 1870. Individual flags: Newspaper. Ella died 08 May
1877 in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 6. Mansfield
Advertiser 30th May 1877: Died Ella Johns dau of Sanford & Rosetta
J., 7 years May 8th Rutland of Diphtheria.
