CRIPPEN - Osmer Crippen, one of Rutland's most highly esteemed
citizens, died on Sunday morning last, after a long illness of Brights
disease. The funeral was held from the family home at l o'clock on Tuesday
afternoon and at 3 o'clock from the Roseville Baptist church, and was largely
attended. Burial was in the Roseville (Watson) Cemetery. The Rev. Seymour
Barrett was the officiating clergyman. Mr Crippen was 59 years old, and
is survived by his widow, who was Miss Ada Redfield, three sons and one
daughter, and a brother Rush Crippen. A.M. Crippen of Mansfield is a cousin
