 She married Frederick Elias Webster 04 DEC 1888.  (Frederick Elias Webster is #8751.)  Frederick was born 9 APR 1865 in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Frederick was the son of Joel Orlando Webster and Nancy Jane Rockwell.  Frederick died 1953 in Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 88.  His body was interred 1953 in Watson Cemetery,Roseville, Rutland Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Bertha was of Rutland PA in 1917 when her sister, Bessie, died.

      Bertha C. Crippen and Frederick Elias Webster had the following children:

      2  i.  William2 Webster (#23141) was born in Pennsylvania 23 Sep 1889.  William died 194x at age unknown.  Dewey Webster believes his uncle died in the early 1940s.
      3  ii.  Myron Edward Webster (#13375) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 06 AUG 1892.  Individual flags: Soc.Sec..  Myron died Nov 1987 in Soldiers & Sailors Mem. Hosp., Wellsboro, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 95.  His body was interred Nov 1987 in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  He married Jennie W. Dewey BEF 1918.  (Jennie W. Dewey is #13376.)  Jennie was born 20 SEP 1891 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  Jennie was the daughter of Oscar Eugene Dewey and Lillian C. Palmer.  Jennie died 08 JUN 1975 in Mansfield, Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 83.  Her body was interred JUN 1975 in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.  She resided in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 1908.   Jennie was a school teacher in the one room schools of Sullivan township. Vera Palmer, who lives today at age 97, (1995) remembers her as an excellent teacher. Principal of Junior High School in my father's time. Graduated Mansfield State Teacher's College 1913 and taught there 25 years. Graduated Cornell Law School 1925 and 1933.
      4  iii.  Carl Webster (#12816) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 14 Mar 1895.  Individual flags: WWI; Photograph; Soc.Sec..  Carl died 06 Mar 1992 in Bath, Steuben County, New York, at age 96.  He married Mazie Benson.  (Mazie Benson reference LR 550)  (Mazie Benson is #12815.)  Mazie was born 29 MAY 1900 in Elmira, Chemung County, New York.  Mazie was the daughter of Laverne G. Benson and Leafy Kennedy.  Mazie died 12 NOV 1993 in Bath, Steuben County, New York, at age 93.  Maza and her husband, Carl, lived at 603 Fred Street in Elmira, New York.
      5  iv.  Wayne Webster (#23142) was born in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania 31 Jul 1897.  Wayne died 1953/54 at age 56.
