I found two of these in the same Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in New York State.
Hi Joyce:
That's the emblem of the Catholic War Veterans of the U.S.A., founded on May 19, 1935 in the State of New York. The emblem is as follows:
The Celtic Cross of Jesus Christ reminds us of early Christianity protected and preserved by our valiant forefathers.
The "US" stands for the United States of America and the Constitution on which their principles stand.
The star represents the glory of victory.
The wreath stands for the memory of those who died that we may have freedom.
The circle stands for the perpetuity of Christ's Church on earth.
The olive branch of peace stands for Christ's teaching, Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself.
I hope that this helps you out some.
