Letters of Administration upon the estate of COMFORT CANADY late of Columbia who died on Saturday March 20, 1875 1:25 p.m. granted to H. A. Case he having been duly sworn and given bond to well and truly administer upon the same according to law.
Given under the hand and official seal of the Register at Towanda April 2nd, 1875. Bond also of John CANADY as admins with said H. A. Case of said Est. filed he to be sworn as such as soon as his health is such that he can act.
Letter of John CANADY filed same day. Also Affidavits of Russell Button & Wm. Scouten as to condition of family & affairs of the estate.
May 1st 1875 Inventory recd. Vendue List filed Oct. 29, 1875.

Know all men by these presents, that I, JOHN CANEDY of Sylvania Borough, Bradford County Pa. being of sound mind, memory and understanding. realizing the uncertainties of life, hereby revoking any and all other wills, I may heretofore made do make publish and declare this for my last will and testament in the manner following, to wit:
I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my executors, hereinafter mentioned, as soon as deemed by them convenient.
Item, - I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Nellie CANEDY the use of my house and lot in Sylvania Borough, Pa. during the term of her natural life, and at her death the said house and lot I give and bequeath to my son Fred CANEDY and his heirs forever.
Item, - I also give to my beloved wife, Nellie CANEDY the use of my farm in Columbia Township during the term of her natural life, and at her death the same to be divided between my beloved children to wit: - Samuel CANEDY, William CANEDY, Fred CANEDY and my daughter Bertha CRANDELL, share and share alike, to them and their heirs forever.
Item, - I also give to my beloved wife, the surrey and the household goods, absolutely, all the foregoing property to be in lien of any and all dower rights she might have in my estate.
Item, - I give and bequeath to my grandson, William CRANDELL, the four acres of land on the Mountain road in Sylvania Borough, Pa. to have and to hold the same to himself and his heirs forever.
Item, - I give and bequeath to my beloved son, Fred CANEDY the money I loaned to him, which is now invested by him in the store in Sylvania, Pa. it being the money loaned him when he went in business with his brother Samuel CANEDY.
Item, - I give and bequeath all the residue of my estate both real and personal, wheresoever the same may be found, after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, to my beloved children, to wit. Samuel CANEDY, William CANEDY, Fred CANEDY and Bertha CRANDELL to them and their heirs forever share and share alike.
I hereby ordain, constitute and appoint my son, Fred CANEDY and Arthur CRANDELL, executors of this my last will and testament.
In Witness whereof, I JOHN CANEDY the testator have to this my last will and testament, set my hand and seal this the thirteenth day of December A.D. 1912, and hereby sign, seal, publish and declare this for my last will and testament.
