Joyce, I know you are probably much too busy to really
be interested in this but I wanted you to know how much proof I was able
to find on your site for the ancestors of Charles Inscho. The attachment
has 7 links to your site not counting the census records. (I have my own
stash of Inscho census records.) Using all of these records I believe I
have airtight proof of that lineage.
I think where people are mislead
on this line is because the 1870 census is so wrong. Both Solomon and Sophia
have died and the household is one of several siblings and Cordelia is
the only one with the right age. In fact Miller is listed only 1 year older
than in 1860 and George is actually younger. It is obvious that the person
that gave the census taker that information didn't have a clue as to their
real ages.
Then in the 1880 census the name
became Millard instead of Miller and the person that transcribed it for
your site read it as Willard. So you have to look at a multitude of records
to put together the family but it can be done.

First Generation
1. Obadiah1 Inscho was born in Delaware Water Gap area about 1758. Obadiah died 9 May 1819 in Tioga, Pennsylvania, at 60 years of age.
He married Judith Jennings in Northampton, Pennsylvania, about 1787. Judith was born about 1774. Judith died 10 Aug 1842 in Tioga, Pennsylvania, at 68 years of age.
Obadiah Inscho and Judith Jennings had the following children:
+ 3 ii. John Inscho was born 1 Nov 1789.
4 iii. Lavinia Inscho was born in Northampton, Pennsylvania about 1791. She married John Kemp about 1820.
+ 5 iv. Moses Inscho was born 28 Apr 1792.
+ 6 v. Isaiah Inscho was born 1798.
7 vi. James Inscho was born in Tioga, Pennsylvania 1800. James died 1854 at 54 years of age. His body was interred in Powers Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Tioga, PA. He married Rhodema. Rhodema was born 1809. Rhodema died 4 May 1836 at 26 years of age.
+ 8 vii. Thomas Inscho was born about 1800.
9 viii. Ruth Inscho was born in Tioga, Lycoming, Pennsylvania 1804. Ruth died 1870 in Tioga, Pennsylvania, at 66 years of age. Her body was interred in Powers Cemetery. She married Asa Lincoln.
10 ix. Rachel Inscho was born in Tioga, Pennsylvania about 1810.
+ 11 x. Obadiah (Dyer) Inscho was born 1810.
+ 12 xi. Solomon (Saul) Inscho was born 1812.
+ 13 xii. Robert Inscho was born 1814.
Second Generation
2. Mary (Polly)2 Inscho (Obadiah1) was born in Northampton, Pennsylvania 28 Sep 1788. Mary died 14 Mar 1868 in Lawrenceville, Tioga, Pennsylvania, at 79 years of age. Her body was interred in Powers Cemetery.
She married Dr.Simeon Power in Tioga, Tioga, PA, 2 Feb 1809. Simeon was born in Guilford, Vermont 5 July 1784. Simeon was the son of Manasseh Power and Susannah Paine. Simeon died Dec 19 1863 in Lawrenceville, Tioga, Pennsylvania, at 79 years of age. His body was interred in Power's Cemetery.
Mary (Polly) Inscho and Dr.Simeon Power had the following children:
15 ii. Susan Power. She married Frederick Thurber.
16 iii. Judith Power. She married George Thurber.
17 iv. Simeon I. Power.
18 v. Dyer Power.
+ 19 vi. Caroline Power.
20 vii. Samantha Power.
He married Lavina Mitchell 12 Feb 1815. Lavina was born in Mitchell's Creek, Tioga, PA 26 Aug 1795. Lavina was the daughter of Richard Mitchell and Ruby Keeney. Lavina died 11 Nov 1861 at 66 years of age.
John Inscho and Lavina Mitchell had the following children:
22 ii. Ruby K. Inscho was born about 1818. She married Alpheus Keeney.
+ 23 iii. Obadiah Keeney Inscho was born Nov 30 1819.
24 iv. Judith J. Inscho was born about 1822. She married Rev. Samuel Broakman. Rev. died Jun 6, 1881 in Elmira, N.Y..
+ 25 v. John Jennings Inscho was born 1 Mar 1825.
26 vi. William M. Inscho was born about 1826. William died Sept 17 1888 at 62 years of age.
+ 27 vii. Thomas Mitchell Inscho was born 1830.
28 viii. Lavina M. Inscho was born about 1834.
He married Mary Seelye 1 Jan 1818. Mary was born Jan 21 1793. Mary was the daughter of John Seelye and Elizabeth Lindsley. Mary died Jan 11, 1872 in Knoxville, Tioga, Pennsylvania, at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in Free Church Cemetery, Knoxville, Free Church Cemetery.
Moses Inscho and Mary Seelye had the following children:
30 ii. Eliza Lindsley Inscho was born 15 Jan 1820. She married John O. Ward 17 Sep 1846.
31 iii. Hiram Inscho was born 24 Feb 1821. Hiram died 25 Mar 1896 at 75 years of age. He married twice. He married Lucretia George. He married Mrs. Betsy Glover.
32 iv. Mary Ann Inscho was born Nov 6, 1822. Mary died 10 Aug 1871 at 48 years of age. She married Benoni Madison.
33 v. Charlotte Ann Inscho was born 5 July 1825.
34 vi. Rachel Inscho was born 16 Feb 1827.
35 vii. James Byron Inscho was born 25 Nov 1828. James died 16 Sep 1854 at 25 years of age.
36 viii. Micajah Seelye Inscho was born 12 Nov 1830. Micajah died 26 Apr 1899 at 68 years of age. His body was interred in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Westfield Tnsp Tioga Co., PA. He married Charlotte Howland. Charlotte was born Aug 7, 1834. Charlotte was the daughter of Joseph Howland and Lucy Rexford. Charlotte died 26 Jul 1894 at 59 years of age. Her body was interred in Mt. Pleasant Cem - Westfield T, Tioga Co., PA.
37 ix. Emily J. Inscho was born 22 May 1832.
38 x. Lucius C. Inscho was born 6 Dec 1834. Lucius died 8 Jan 1896 at 61 years of age. He married Susan before 1870.
He married Catherine Ann ------ about 1826. Catherine was born about 1803. Catherine died Jan 12th 1877 in Wells Twnshp, Bradford Co., PA, at 73 years of age.
Isaiah Inscho and Catherine Ann ------ had the following children:
40 ii. Joseph Inscho was born 1840.
41 iii. Jane Inscho was born 1842.
42 iv. Annie Inscho was born 1845. Annie died 12 Aug 1870 in Jackson, Tioga, PA, at 25 years of age.
43 v. Obadiah Inscho was born ca 1850.
He married Eleanor Thompson 1835. Eleanor died Dec 1889 in Corning, New York.
Thomas Inscho and Eleanor Thompson had the following children:

49 vi. Manly Inscho was born 1847.
He married twice. He married Minerva. He married EuniceBaldwin. Eunice was born ca 1810. Eunice was the daughter of Thomas L. Baldwin and Jerusha De Pui. Eunice died 23 Jul 1853 in Lawrence, Tioga Co. PA, at 43 years of age.
Obadiah (Dyer) Inscho and Eunice Baldwin had the following children:

52 iii. Eugene Inscho was born ca 1850. Eugene died 3 Mar 1870 at 19 years of age.
He married Sophia Westbrook. Sophia was the daughter of Elias Westbrook and Mary "Polly" Prutsman.

1860 Census – Saul & Sophia Inscho Lawrence Township, Tioga, PA includes Miller Inscho – age 15
1870 Census – Darius Inscho (Lawrence Township, Tioga, PA) as head of household which consists of all siblings. The only age that matches is Cordelia’s. Miller is listed as 16 which is way off but it is very obvious that it is the same family.
1880 Census – Millard Inscho (Lawrence Township, Tioga, PA) with 9 year old son Charles. (online census was transcribed as Willard)
1900 Census – Charles B. Inscho (Lawrence Township, Tioga, PA) with wife Susie and 7 year old daughter Sarah J. and others.
1910 Census – Charles B. Inscho (Wayland, Steuben, NY) with wife Susie and 17 year old daughter Sarah and others.
