Hello Joyce,
    I just received this picture and thought that you would like to have a copy.
    Carl HEESS [1848-1907] is the gentleman with his family. [He was my g-grandfather with his first wife, Clara PORTER dau of Latney Porter & Sophronia BROWN. Their dau Estella Heess married Eugene NEWELL of Grover, PA]
    Woman to the right of rocker closest to Carl is his second wife, Annetta WILCOX Smith Heess; woman in the rocker is the mother of Annetta, Rachel ........ Wilcox; to the left of the rocker is Dora HEESS [she married Eugene McKAY and lived in the Roseville area]; the young woman on the chair on the porch is Cora SMITH  [married Samuel McCARTY]; young woman sitting on the edge of the porch is Jennie HEESS [married Charles BROWN and lived in Sullivan County--- 12 children]
    Cora never changed very much. She always had a rather round face. She was the daughter of Annetta Wilcox Smith by her first husband Eugene Smith 1851-1884.

Both Keith McKay and Ruth McKay who married Tom Tice have lived in Sullivan Township. Cora SMITH McCarty also spent time in  Sullivan at the home of her daughter Nellie McCARTY Mudge.
