Noah Wilson, son of Michael Wilson, was born in
Wrenthan, Norfolk, MA on 20 April 1761, the second of eight
children. Noah was a Revolutionary War Soldier. He married Mary
Polly Rowley and they lived in Addison County, Vermont where their
first seven children were born. He purchased 3,000 acres of land
and in 1803 left Vermont with his wife, four sons and three
daughters settling in Bradford County and establishing the town of
Alba, PA. He served as the first Justice of the Peace. Noah died
on 7 April 1844 and is buried in the Alba Cemetery next to his wife
Mary Polly Rowley. Their children are Martha Polly, Noah, Hosea,
Malinda. Almira Omira Tate, Iram, Irad, and Samantha.
