Mrs. Nellie Beard George of Osceola died unexpectedly Sunday evening,
March 30, 1952. She was born in Scio, NY June 30, 1873, the daughter of
Orin and Mary Hoaglin Taft.
She is survived by three sons, Guy Beard of Elmira; Clyde and Orin
Beard of Osceola; one sister Mrs. Mae Carr of Osceola; twelve grandchildren
and thirty two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm at the home
of her son Orin Beard in Osceola. Rev. Frank Russell officiated. Burial
was made in the Fairview Cemetery Osceola.

away Sunday, October 31, 2004, at her home. She was born November 4, 1905,
in Woodhull, NY, the daughter of Delbert (sic) and Sarah (Alexander)Colvin.
She was a homemaker, member of the Valley Grange and the Borden
Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Lyle Beard, Osceola, PA;
eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren;
daughter-in-law, Wilma Beard, Rd. Knoxville, PA; sister, Grace Murry (sic),
Lehigh Acres, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orin; son, Clyde; and
three grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral
Home, 214 Main St., Elkland, PA, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral
services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Larry O'Dell, officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Osceola, PA.

Ethel attended Haverling Central School, she had various area
jobs and was a house wife, Ethel was very active in the Assembly of God
Church.
Ethel is predeceased by her first husband, Leon Bates, her daughter
Barbara Havens, sons, Warren Bates and second husband Chester Colvin, tow
grandsons, one granddaughter.
Ethel is survived by two daughters, Carol (Tom) Carolan of Bath,
NY, Luella (Howard) Gilbert of Bath, NY; two stepdaughters, Barb (Mick)
White, Luella (Harry) Potter, her sidter Edna (Ralph) Brewer of Bath, NY;
her brother, Ken (Marylou) Beebe of Barrington, NY; five grandsons, three
granddaughters.
There will be no calling hours, Ethel's Funeral Service will
be held on Friday Nov 4, 2005, 2pm at the Assembly of God Church, 310 West
Washington St, Bath, NY with Pastor Moses Baker as Celebrant.

Bath.

Clyde E. Age 76, of R.D. #1, Knoxville, PA, passed away Saturday, September
11, 2004, at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was born
July 23, 1928, the son of Orin and Gladys Colvin Beard. He was a lifelong
farmer. Clyde is survived by his wife, Wilma Clark Beard; daughters and
sons-in-law, Carole and Mike Fay, Palmyra, PA, Laurie and Glenn, Cleveland,
Hopewell, NJ; son and daughter-in-law, John and Sandy Beard, Knoxville,
PA; 10 grandchildren; mother, Gladys Beard, Osceola, PA; brother, Lyle
Beard, Osceola, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded
in death by children, Rick, Kathy and Ron Beard. Private funeral services
were conducted at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may
be made to the Knoxville-Deerfield Vol. Fire Dept., & the Valley Community
Ambulance Assn.
