Deed Richd  Mitchel & Wife to John Inscho

This Indenture made the first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one Between Richard Mitchel of the Township of Tioga County of Tioga and State of Pennsylvania of the first part and John Inscho of the same Town County and State aforesaid yeoman of the second part Witnesseth that the said Richard Mitchel of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars and fifty five cents lawful Money of the United States of America and also of that of the State of Pennsylvania to him in hand paid by the said John Inscho party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath Granted Bargained Sold Released Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents doth Grant Bargain Sell Releas Enfeoff Convey and Confirm unto the said John Inscho his heir and assigns two certain Lots Tracts Pieces or Parcels of Land situate on the Tioga River in the Township of Tioga and County of Tioga and State of Pennsylvania aforesaid and butted and bounded as follows (VIZ) Beginning at a Post thence south fifty degrees east two hundred and eight perches to a Post  thence north sixty five degrees west eighteen perches to a white Pine Tree thence north fifty degrees west two hundred and sixteen perches to a Post thence south thirty five degrees west seventeen perches to the place of Beginning Containing twenty two acres and eighty four perches of land be the same more or less and bounded on the south by the said Richard Mitchel on the east by unknown land on the north by William Martin and Uriah Spencer Esquire and on the west by the said Richard Mitchel it being part of a larger tract or piece of land patented by the State of Pennsylvania to Joseph Martin and from the Heir of Joseph Martin (to wit) William Martin one undivided third part of said land unto Uriah Spencer Esquire and from the said William Martin and Uriah Spencer unto the above named Richard Mitchel Also one other piece or parcel of land butted and bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a Post by the by the Bank of the Tioga River thence south fifty degrees east forty six perches to a Post thence north thirty five degrees east seventeen perches to a Post thence north fifty degrees west thirty nine perches to a Post on the Bank of the Tioga River thence south fifty one degrees west along by the Bank of said River eighteen perches to the place of Beginning containing four acres and eighty two perches of ground be the same more or less bounded on the south by the above named Richard Mitchel on the east by the above described piece or parcel of land on the north by Robert Mitchell and on the west by the Tioga River it being part of a larger tract or piece of land patented by the State of Pennsylvania to Samuel Westbrook (*Interlined)* and from the said Samuel Westbrook to the said Richard Mitchel Together with all and singular the Houses out Houses, Buildings, Barns, -?-Woods Ways Water Watercourses Rights Liberties Privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and also all the estate right title interest use possession claim or demand of him the said Richard Mitchel of in or to the same to have and to hold the said piece or parcel of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned to be granted with the appurtenances unto the said John Inscho his heirs and assigns and to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said John Inscho his heirs and assigns for ever  And the said Richard Mitchel and Ruby Mitchel his Wife for themselves their heirs doth hereby Covenant promise and grant to and with the said John Inscho and his heirs and assigns by these presents that they the said Richard and Ruby Mitchel and their heirs the said described lot or piece of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned to be granted with the appurtenances unto the said John Inscho his heirs and assigns against them the said Richard and Ruby Mitchel and their heirs and assigns and against any and every other persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under them or any of them or any other person shall and will Warrant and by these presents forever defend In witness whereof the said parties to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written  [*]The words (and from the said Samuel Westbrook to the said Richard Mitchel in the thirty first line Enterlined before signed) Richard Mitchel (Seal) Ruby Mitchel (Seal) Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us W.D. Bacon, Thomas Mitchel Tioga County Ss Personally appeared before me William D Bacon Esquire one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Tioga and State of Pennsylvania Richard Mitchel the person named in the Indenture and acknowledged the same to be his free act and deed executed for the purposes herein mentioned this fifth day of March on the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one and after examining Ruby the Wife of the above named Richard Mitchell separately and alone from her Husband she acknowledged the within to be her free act and deed executed for the purposes herein mentioned without being influenced or compelled so to do by any undue influence from her Husband or any other person W D Bacon Just of the Peace
