Last Will and Testament of
JOSEPH HUGHES
In the Name of God, Amen.
I Joseph Hughes, of Liberty township; Tioga Co., State of P.A., being weak in body, but of sound mind and understanding do make, publish and declare, this my last Will and testament, in manner and form following; VIZ:
I command my body to be interred in the ground in a Christian burial and My Soul to God who gave it, and after paying all my just Debts and Funeral expenses, I Will and bequeath to my Loving wife, Sarah all my property both real and personal, and all my dues whatsoever and wheresoever, to hold and to possess and to manage and to dispose of.
And I hereby appoint my wife Sarah the Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament, and I hereby revoking disannul and make void all other wills and testaments hereby one made making this my last will and testament, this Fifteenth Day of November One thousand Eight hundred and fifty three,
and hereby set my hand and Joseph Hughes Seal
In witness there of we the subscribers here sign our names in presence of the testator and in presence of each other

Joseph Hughes died at his residence in Liberty Twp 19th day of November 1877 at 7 p.m.
Joseph and Sarah are buried in Sebring Cemetery.
NOTE: Buried next to Joseph and Sarah HUGHES are Benjamin HUGHES and wife Mariah Benjamin is the brother of Joseph.
