Will of David Edwards
In the name of God Amen I David Edwards of Charleston in the County of Tioga and the State of Pennsylvania being of good health of body & of sound & disposing memory and being desirous to settle all my worldly affairs while I have strength & Capacity so to do, do make & publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made And first & principally I commit my soul into the hands of my Creator who gave it & my body to the earth to be intered in the burying ground near the Welch Meeting house at the discretion of my Executors herein after named and as to such worldly Estates wherewith it hath pleased God to intrust me I dispose of the same as follows Viz I give and bequeath to my son David G. Edwards ^ and his heirs all my real and personal Estate of whatsoever kind at my discease to his ^ and their use and behoof forever except such sums as herein after named which sums I give & bequeath to my Dear Wife Mary Edwards one third of the produce of the farm we now own and that part of the house we now occupy and one half of the garden to her use and behoof duringher natural life I give & bequeath to my Daughter Jane Thirty Dollars to be paid in property at a fair price Eighteen months after the discease of myself & wife To my Daughter Elizabeth Thirty dollars to be paid in the same manner in five years after the discease of myself & Wife. Also to my Daughter Ann fifty dollars to be paid in furniture whenever she shall call for the same & thirty dollars in Money & two Cows & at our discease Thirty Doll^ars in property to be paid in four years after the discease of myself and Wife Also the wearing Apparel of my wife and the beds & bedding to be equally divided between the above named daughters after our discease
And I do hereby appoint & constitute David G. Edwards Executor of this my last will & testament herby revoking al former will and declare this to be my last will and testament
In witness wherof I the said testator David Edwards have set my hand & seal this fifteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fifty one

I Mary Edwards of my own free will an accord do hereby relinquish all my right title & interest to the four hundred Dollars which was secured to me a my marriage portion at the time of my marriage with David Edwards to Daivd G Edwards my son and his heirs to their use and behoof forever Mary Edwards
