Mamma took Genevieve over to Mansfield in morning. We washed and ground sausage meat. Churned in the new churn.

MISS DOROTHY S. SMITH
 MANSFIELD--Miss Dorothy S. Smith, 80, of Mansfield RD 2, died Monday, Aug. 10, 1987, in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. She had been employed by Moore Business Forms, Elmira and Niagara Falls, NY, from 1929 to 1946. Miss Smith was a member of Elk Run Methodist Church, Elk Run. She was born Feb. 9, 1907, in Rutland Twp., Tioga County, a daughter of Emerson and Addie Makley Smith. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Iva Sherman, Mrs. Erma Tice and Miss Genevieve Smith, and two brothers, Roland and Robert, all of Mansfield. The funeral will be at 1 pm Thursday at Scureman's, 130 South Main Street.  Burial will be in Lawrence Corners Cemetery, Rutland Twp. The Rev. Robert Stump, he pastor, will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday.
