Letter from Alonzo & Pursila Mingos in Monroe Township -Hollon Hill, Bradford Co, Pa  to Abram &  Mary Jane Bois, location unknown.

Janary the 28  1857

   dear brother and sister it is with pleasure i take my pen in hand to let you know that whee are all well and the rest of our friends whee would all like to see you and enjoy your company but Since we are parted by hills and valleys wee must talk by whay of letors    k now consorning that farm of   mr hales  i have sene him and   he says that he will   let you have it for sex hundred and fifty dolars providing  yo will pay    him three or fore hundred dolars in the Spring and the rest he will waite as long as you want him too and con soron your team  he will take it if   you and him can agree   Philo Mingos sayes that he will   sell you his place very cheap   he has fifty azors  amost all cleard  up   he wonts seven hunddred  and fifty  dollars   he will take your team  and three hundred dolars in money and the balance he will wait too or three years  it is avery cheap place  i think  and if you want to by you must come  rite away  for they both wont  to know  ameadeaty  if   you cant come write of  send me a letor  write away and what you wont  to doo and i will let them knoo tha have agread to wait till  you send me a ansor  direct your letor to liberty corners post of es   monroeton this from Alonzo Mingos and Pursila Mingos
