Antes Fort, she was the daughter of Raymond and Annetta Kennedy. Elaine
was a 1970 graduate of Jersey Shore High School and obtained her nursing
degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology. She was often acknowledged

was featured in a Williamsport Sun-Gazette article in March 2008. Her bright
pride and joy was her white Persian Mozart, Elaine unapologetically spoiled

widow of Herbert Wildrick of Wyalusing, PA, at the age of 96, died
on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 6, peacefully, in the presence of her
loving family at Mercy Tyler Hospital. Born on May 4, 1914 in Plains,
PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Susan Woznicki. On June
24, 1939, Louise married Herbert Wildrick of Wyalusing. They shared 44
wonderful years together. They were owners of Cold Springs Farm and
supplied many towns and schools with their milk products. It later became
a poultry farm and this also was a successful venture and they were able
to supply chickens to thousands. They rented out their summer cottages
and boats along the Susquehanna River. Mrs. Wildrick was a devoted
member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church. The thing
she cherished most in life was being with her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Through the years, family and friends were the
beneficiaries of Louise’s exquisite cooking and baking. Special favorites
were her apple and chocolate pies. She always baked her pies for the Wyalusing
Firemen’s Carnival and the St. Mary’s dinners. She loved gardening and
was still canning at the age of 95. She was also blessed with exceptional
embroidery skills. Louise felt that voting was a privilege and from the
time she registered at the age of 21, she never missed going to vote on
Election Day. She served on the Wyalusing Township Election Board for many
years. She also was secretary for the Democratic Party Committee and served
as a delegate for Bradford County at many conventions. Having a love
for traveling was evident by the fact that she was able to travel to numerous
countries, including Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Greece, Canada
and Russia. She also was able to visit every state except three. She traveled
cross-country by automobile, in 1952 with her Aunt Lou and girlfriend,
Georgiana and just narrowly missed a deadly tornado in Kansas. Louise also
enjoyed spending her winters in Florida with her husband and enjoyed collecting
seashells. Surviving are four daughters, Maureen Fenton and husband,
Jack of Wyalusing, Nancy Newell and husband, Donald of Wyalusing, Cindy
Smith and husband, Wally of Akron, NY and Susan Roenning and husband, David
of Wyalusing; sisters, Betty Marshall of Wyalusing and Leona Dunklee of

Catholic Church on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. A luncheon will be served
after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be
made in Louise’s name to St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church Building Fund,
