As a Christian, Mrs. F. was humble and unobtrusive, yet firm and consistent. Long will she be remembered for her zealous and hearty devotion to the diversified forms of Christian benevolence for the suppres-sion of vice, and for the promotion of virtue and religion. Her health, though never vigorous, for the last year of her life, was more feeble than usual, and when her last protra-cted sickness commenced she seemed confident that she should never recover. The severity of her sickness prevented her saying much, and yet when her strength permitted, she addressed one and another of her family, and with an earnest-ness and fidelity which will never be forgotten.
