Terrell, infant |
Burned to death. Lawrence news -- October
29th. Yesterday morning, a little daughter of Mr. Nathan Terrell, of Lawrence
township was so badly burned that she only survived 5 hours. The father and
mother had gone from home, leaving 3 small children alone. The little girl was
standing in the front of the stove, when her dress caught fire. She ran out of
the house and the wind increased the flames so that her clothes were entirely
consumed. Dr. Darling was called in but nothing could be done. |
