We take this to be a "wholesale" marriage ceremony. We are informed that none of the parties were aware of the day and time each were to be united in the holy bonds of wedlock. But they had a cordial time all round when the "knots" were tied. The brides, no doubt, managed the delicate preliminary arrangements, in which their lords were to be "introduced" to the occasion.
