VanDusen. Canham's full Band will be there, and it will, without a doubt, be what is sometimes called a "rouser" as Van's friends are of themselves a legion.

Such poetical grief is merely disgusting, although vulgar minds may regard it as "touching" and impressive. The grave is not the place for the display of extravagant nonsense, and those who indulge in the latter over the dead bodies of their relatives, are justly to be suspected of harboring more vanity than anguish."
