Hi Joyce, 07 OCT 2005)
I just want to send a big thanks to you and Darla Hogaboom for transcribing
and posting the "1890 Town of Horseheads Census, Military Veterans!"
How on earth would I ever have discovered that my very own great-great-grandfather,
STEPHEN COMPTON, was the enumerator of this census, had you not added it
to your site! Just one more little piece of the puzzle to add color
to his life story. :)
Thanks to your cemetery transcriptions, I was able to visit the
COMPTON graves in Maple Grove Cemetery two years ago. What an amazing
experience!
