You may also add that Lucile C. Sumner, [second] wife of Jesse Sumner III, [my stepgrandmother] died 19 October 2002. I have records of the Sumner,
Fraley, and Bourdette families, and I will get back to you and add details that I find in our records. Christopher Fraley's  (my great grandfather's)tombstone read "Co. A." Someone must have misheard "A" for "H"since it was, in fact, "Co. H." Bob Bourdette.

Jesse Sumner (I) died Feb. 27, 1813; his name and date are on the Sumner Cenotaph. His father, Joel ["lived in Halifax, Vt."], died April 3, 1813. I
add this in the interest of family history: Jesse Sumner (I) from Halifax, Vt. had bought land in East Smithfield, returned to Vt., married Mary, set
out by oxsled for ES in Feb, 1813; but died near Athens before they arrived; Mary took her husband's body into ES [he was buried somewhere on the Wood property]; she summoned his father Joel. He came and then died suddenly after visiting his son's grave. Their names were inscribed on the Sumner
Cenotaph in Union Cemetery.

Dear Joyce,

            What a great website you have of Union Cemetery.  I wanted to tell you that Justin M. Vosburg was my grandfather, and my grandmother was Kathleen Vosburg.  She remarried after his death to Fred Blizzard.  Her maiden name was Hayworth, not Blizzard, as stated in your chart.   When my step grandfather died, he was buried elsewhere, and my grandmother Kathleen Vosburg was buried with her first husband when she died.

            Thanks for allowing me to view your website and all the hard work involved.
