The more modern cemetery contains about twenty acres - - the old one has only about two acres." Reference: History of Bradford County, Pennsylvania by Bradsby, p 358. The oldest tombstone found was that of Rev. E. Rich Died Mar 16 1812 Age 72.  According to local  histories Rev. Elisha Rich  was the first to be buried in the cemetery. Tombstones were found for the following Revolutionary soldiers, Seth Adams, Jabez M. Baldwin,  William Furman,Laban Landon, Thomas Merritt, Solomon Morse, Eli Parsons, Elisha Rich, Samuel Strait, John Wilber, and Calab Williams. Any item appearing in parenthesis is added information by the compiler for clairification and does not appear on the tombstone. J Kelsey JONES.
